Minor Motorcycle Accident Involving Brad Pitt

The first rule of bike club is: always wear your helmet.  The second rule of bike club is: ALWAYS WEAR YOUR HELMET!

Brad Pitt walked away unscathed from a relatively minor motorcycle accident in Hollywood last week.  No other motorists or pedestrians experienced personal injuries from the Fight Club star’s motorcycle crash, but his bike did sustain some damage and had to be towed away from the scene.

The motorcycle accident occurred as the actor shimmied up between a row of parked cars and a row of traffic, approaching a stop light that was red.  While trying to avoid the car on his left, Pitt clipped the side of a parked car to his right with his bike’s handle bars and went down with the two wheeler.

Our motorcycle accident attorneys know that anyone on a motorcycle has to be careful when taking it out on the road.  You have less protection if you should find yourself in an accident, so the chances of personal injury and wrongful death are increased significantly.  One wrong move and you can find yourself in a very bad accident.

Pitt is lucky that despite trying to deftly maneuver his around through traffic and taking a nasty fall, no other serious consquences resulted from the motorcycle accident.  Here are some safety tips to help you avoid a motorcycle accident:

  • Wear a helmet.
  • Make sure that you slow down around curves.
  • Obey the rules of the road.

Motorcycle accidents, whether big or small, have the potential to end in tragedy.  Make sure that you take precautions to be a safe driver out on the road as well as get the right auto insurance coverage for your vehicle.  If you do not drive a motorcycle, at least remember to keep an eye out for those who do.  That way we can all be looking out for each other on the road.

Personally I don’t think that Mr. Handsome has received enough accolades for his humanitarian efforts. In my opinion a lot of celebrity do-gooders are totally phony and engage in so called good deeds merely for positive publicity. I have to say that I don’t think that George is one of the phonies out there in the world of celbrity do-gooders. I admire what he is doing for the Haitian people. I wish more celebrities were as real as he is when it comes to helping out those less fortunate in the world. So kudos to George and his desire to make this world a better place.
